Reinsurance Group Announces Surplus Distribution

Minnesota's Workers’ Compensation Reinsurance Association announced that it will dole out $600 million to the state's insurers, self-insurers and policyholders, a result of reduced claims projections and investment returns. The surplus distribution is the WCRA's fifth, bringing total payouts to $1.6 billion since 1992.
