The owner of a company that arranges yacht charters in Patochogue, N.Y., has been charged with illegally having a family member apply for workers' compensation coverage after ignoring an eight-year-old bill for premiums owed to the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF).NYSIF said Monday that Marc Anassis, 66, of Central Islip, N.Y, owed the state-run fund $22,000 for a workers' compensation policy canceled for nonpayment in 2002.
