Rand Recommends OWCP Model as Basis for Home Health Care Fee Schedule

Rand Corp. says in a report released Tuesday that the California Division of Workers' Compensation should comply with a mandate to adopt a fee schedule for home health services by adopting a modified version of the schedule now used by the federal Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. Senate Bill 863 directed the DWC to adopt a fee schedule by July 1, 2013, for home health care services that are not covered by a Medicare fee schedule or the Official Medical Fee Schedule.
