Pain Doc Must Stop Prescribing Narcotics as Condition of Bail

A Southern California doctor must stop prescribing narcotics and other dangerous drugs if he wants to stay out of jail while awaiting a Feb. 3 preliminary hearing on charges that he prescribed Vicodin, Norco, Adderall and Xanax to undercover agents who had no legitimate need for the medications, according to the Los Angeles Times.Dr. John Dimowo, medical director of the California Advanced Pain Institute, pleaded not guilty on Monday to eight counts of unlawful prescribing.
