No Additional PPD Award to Ironworker With Bilateral Knee Injuries

A divided West Virginia Supreme Court ruled that an ironworker was not entitled to an additional permanent partial disability award for injuries he sustained to both knees. Case: Harrell v. White Construction Inc., No. 19-0294, 02/13/2020, published. Facts and procedural history: Lloyd Harrell Jr. worked for White Construction Inc. as an ironworker. He suffered injuries to both knees in November 2009 when he fell while unloading a heavy windmill blade.
