Workers' Comp Court Proposes Changes to Procedures

Montana’s Workers’ Compensation Court will hold a public hearing in January about changes to litigation rules. After conducting its annual review, the Workers’ Compensation Court has proposed two new rules and amendments to about a dozen current rules. According to the court, the amendments “clarify procedures, improve organization (and) increase internal consistency.” The first new rule requires attorneys to file lists of exhibits and witnesses with the court before the trial.
