A Northern California police officer was charged with two felony counts of insurance fraud for allegedly failing to disclose previous injuries potentially relevant to her workers’ compensation claim.
Leah R. Alexander was a Napa police officer in February 2015 when she filed a claim alleging cumulative trauma to both upper extremities and wrists. She alleged a subsequent injury in May 2016 after she used a baton to smash a window on a vehicle to assist a driver.
