Zurich to Underwrite Patriot's Agency Captive Program

Zurich has reached an agreement with Patriot National Insurance Group of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to underwrite workers’ compensation through Patriot’s agency captive program.Under the deal, Patriot will serve as program administrator with full underwriting and claims settlement authority for its preferred agency captives.Patriot’s preferred agency captives have been underwritten by Guarantee Insurance Co., a Patriot affiliate, and Ullico Casualty Co.Zurich said the agreement would allow it to develop relationships with smaller retail agents. “This is a significant opport...
