The Washington state Department of Labor and Industries said its stay-at-work program has paid out $19.4 million to employers who have provided medically-approved light-duty jobs to injured workers since it was launched in June 2011.The stay-at-work program pays up to half of a worker's base wages for up to 66 days, with the maximum reimbursement being $10,000.
