The former deputy volunteer fire chief of the Union Fire Co. in Bensalem, Pa., surrendered to authorities Wednesday on charges that he filed a false workers' compensation claim.The online news service PhillyBurbs.com reported that David Jerri Jr., 27, is facing third-degree felony charges of insurance fraud and theft in connection with a claim he filed for a hand injury.Bensalem Police Department Sgt.
