WCAB Chairwoman Zalewski Reappointed

California Gov. Gavin Newsom reappointed Katherine Zalewski to serve a six-year term on the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board. Zalewski was appointed to the WCAB in 2014 and has served as chairwoman since 2017. Before joining the board, she served as chief counsel at the Department of Industrial Relations from 2012 to 2014. Zalewski was an administrative law judge and adviser to the Division of Workers’ Compensation from 2009 to 2011.
