Worker Struck on Head Gets Claim Partially Revived

A New York appellate court ruled that a worker should have been allowed to proceed with a portion of his Labor Law claim for his injuries from being struck by a piece of wood. Case: Reyes v. Sligo Construction Corp., No. 019-11280, 03/29/2023. Facts: Miguel Reyes allegedly suffered injuries when a piece of wood struck him on the head during the partial demolition of a house.
