The North Carolina Industrial Commission will hold the first meeting of its Opioid Task Force on April 6.
The commission formed the task force in February to study and recommend solutions for the problems arising from opioid abuse by workers’ compensation claimants.
The meeting begins at 2 p.m. in the Law Library of the Industrial Commission, sixth floor of the Dobbs Building at 430 N. Salisbury St. in Raleigh.
The task force includes stakeholders from across the workers’ compensation system.
