Kipper Resigning as Insurance Commissioner next Month

Nevada Insurance Commissioner Scott J. Kipper will step down effective July 2, the Insurance Division announced Thursday. Kipper did not state a reason for his resignation. A division spokesman said the commissioner "has not released that information." Kipper has held the post since his appointment in October 2011. He previously served as the state insurance commissioner from December 2008 to June 2010.
