The Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation posted to its website a copy of the Department of Industrial Relations' report on the percentage of eligible injured workers applying for supplemental benefit payments from the $120 million fund created by SB 863.
The report comes a couple of weeks before lawmakers in the state Senate are scheduled to hear testimony on a handful of workers’ compensation bills, including one that would require the DIR to fully exhaust each year the full $120 million in the Return-to-Work Supplemental Program.
