Study: Medical Payments Per Claim Stabilize After Reforms Sent Them Tumbling

Average medical payments per claim in California stabilized between 2015 and early 2019 thanks largely to legislative reforms that pushed costs down over several prior years, according to a new study by the Workers Compensation Research Institute.
