Murder of Wealthy Estate Owner May Be Tied to Day Laborer's Work Injury

The day laborer accused of bludgeoning to death a Westchester County millionaire had been hurt while working on the family's 300-acre horse farm and was trying to get compensation for the injury, the White Plains newspaper The Journal News reports. Esdras Marroquin Gomez, 32, was apprehended in Miami on Friday and arrested for the Nov. 9, 2015, killing of Lois Colley, 83.
