The Wisconsin state Senate unanimously confirmed Caleb Frostman as secretary of the Department of Workforce Development, the agency that administers the state’s workers’ compensation and unemployment programs.
Gov. Tony Evers appointed Frostman as secretary in January.
Frostman briefly represented parts of northeastern Wisconsin in the state Senate, winning a special election in June 2018 before losing the seat during the regular election in November 2018.
Frostman said in a statement that he was honored by the unanimous bipartisan support for his confirmation.
