Patients will not have to visit a doctor's office before qualifying for telemedicine services, and most insurers must now pay the same for telemedicine as for similar in-person care, state officials said Wednesday.
It's another step by state agencies to help limit person-to-person contact and stem the spread of the coronavirus, which has sickened more than 220 people in Texas, reports show.
