Kamin, ReporterTexas Mutual Insurance Co.'s dominant hold on the state's workers' compensation market grew by 3.3% last year as all carriers collected the highest amount of Texas premium since 2008. Texas brokers were pleased to observe a 13.1% increase in workers' compensation written premiums from 2011 to 2012, according to a 2012 market share report from the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
