Governor Nominates Defense Attorney Thomas Daniels for Industrial Accident Board

Gov. Charlie Baker has nominated workers' compensation defense attorney Thomas B. Daniels for a seat on the Industrial Accident Board, MassLive.com reports.

Daniels, who was a partner at the downtown Springfield law firm Faille, Hingham and Daniels before it shuttered, has practiced law since 1990.

He currently practices in downtown Springfield out of the Law Offices of Steven B. Stein.

Baker said the "meticulous preparation" shown by Daniels as an attorney makes him a good candidate for an administrative law judge position.

The Governor's Council will consider the nomination.
