An amendment to Wisconsin's post-traumatic stress disorder bill has sent the measure back to the Senate, but lawmakers are expected to approve it when they reconvene in March.
Senate Bill 511, which passed the Senate in January after hours of emotional testimony from first responders, was amended in the House last week. The bill now limits safety officers to no more than three PTSD claims over a career, after an amendment offered in the House by Rep. Cody Horlacher, R-Mukwonago.
