Virginia state lawmakers will consider adopting a unique medical fee schedule, with no link to Medicare and prices largely based on current rates within geographical zones, if a working draft of a bill circulating in the state is introduced to the General Assembly.
The drafters of the proposed bill are cautiously optimistic about its passage because the bill is based on months of talks and negotiations involving medical providers, employers, insurance companies and legislators.
