Senate Passes Bill Calling for Study of Gender Disparities

The California Senate passed a bill that would require the Division of Workers’ Compensation to study differences in benefits provided to injured workers based on gender. The Senate on Wednesday voted 31-8 to pass SB 631, by Sen. Dave Cortese, D-Campbell.
