Committees Pass COVID Presumption, Fraud Investigation Bills

Policy committees in the California Senate passed bills that would extend COVID-19 presumptions and review the process for carriers, prosecutors and regulators to work together to fight workers’ compensation fraud. The Senate Committee on Labor, Public Employment and Retirement on Wednesday voted 4-1 to pass AB 1751, by Assemblyman Tom Daly, D-Anaheim.
