The Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims will hold a video-based public hearing on Thursday to gain feedback on changing some claims adjudication procedures back to the way they were in 2016.
The rules, proposed in March, could help streamline the interlocutory relief process and allow parties to request a telephone call with a judge when benefits have been denied but the need for medical treatment or indemnity benefits is urgent, attorneys said.
