Industrial Commission to Reject FROIs Not Received by Nov. 3

The Idaho Industrial Commission said it will reject first reports of injury not submitted by the close of business on Friday and will return them for proper filing using the new EDI standards that go into effect Saturday. The commission said a FROI sent by mail and postmarked before the implementation date will not be accepted. The commission is adopting Electronic Data Interchange Claims Release 3.0 and mandating electronic submission of first reports of injury, and subsequent reports of injury, on or after Nov. 4.
