California workplace safety regulators fined Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. $147,090 after an investigation of the company's facility in Colton identified 10 serious and four general violations. The proposed fines come when Ashley Furniture, the largest home furnishing company in the country, is facing $2 million in penalties for violations at a facility in Wisconsin.
