Drug-Free Workplace Policies Don't Mean Fewer Claims, NCCI Study Shows

Contrary to what many employers may expect, drug-free workplace policies don't always translate into fewer lost-time claims, the National Council on Compensation Insurance reported Tuesday. In six states studied, “the drug-free workplace policy claim frequencies are at least as high as non-DFWP claim frequencies in all six states,” the NCCI study found.
