WCA Schedules Training Sessions for Mandatory E-Filing System

The New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration will hold free training sessions throughout December on a new electronic filing system that will become mandatory at the start of the new year.
Effective Jan. 1, all represented parties will be required to use the Electronic Adjudication Management System, or EAMS, to file court documents in all workers’ compensation cases. Workers and employers who are unrepresented will not have to use the electronic filing system, but are encouraged to do so, the WCA said.
The WCA said it will hold training sessions for EAMS on the following dates:
- Noon-1 p.m. Wednesday.
- 8-9 a.m. Thursday.
- Noon-1 p.m. Dec. 20.
- 8-9 a.m. Dec. 21.
- Noon-1 p.m. Dec. 27.
- 8-9 a.m. Dec. 28.
