The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that it moved up by about three months a hearing on proposed changes to its utilization and reimbursement rules.
In March, the division announced that it would hold the hearing Sept. 8, but it published a notice in the May 19 Florida Administrative Register saying the hearing was moved to Thursday.
System users have been negotiating medical reimbursement dispute rules for about five years at this point.
The DWC most recently held a hearing on Dec. 1 to review proposed changes to the 69L-31 series of rules.
