New Med-Legal Fee Schedule Taking Effect

Medical evaluators in California will be paid $2,015 for a comprehensive medical-legal exam under the new Medical-Legal Fee Schedule that goes into effect Thursday. The reimbursement rate for comprehensive medical-legal exams includes the review of up to 200 pages of records. Qualified medical evaluators and agreed medical evaluators who review additional records would be reimbursed at $3 per page under the recently approved fee schedule.
