The American Association of Payers, Administrators and Networks is planning to increase its advocacy efforts in 2018 to educate state legislators and regulators about the value of workers’ compensation pharmacy benefits managers, the organization said.
The advocacy efforts will be guided by the association’s workers’ compensation PBM council, whose members include Express Scripts, Mitchell International, Optum Workers' Comp & Auto No-Fault, Healthesystems and Coventry Workers' Comp Services.
