Zenith Sets April 29 Shareholder Meeting to Approve Merger

Zenith National Insurance Corp. has scheduled a special meeting of stockholders for April 29 to consider and vote upon a proposed merger with Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd.All Zenith stockholders of record at the close of business on March 26 will be entitled to vote at the special meeting, which will be held at 3 p.m. PDT at Zenith's corporate offices, 21255 Califa St., Woodland Hills, Calif.Zenith announced last month that it has reached a tentative agreement to sell all outstanding shares to Fairfax Financial for $38 a share, which amounts to $1.4 billion.Attorneys hoping to represent ...
