Retroactive Benefits to Increase on Oct. 1

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division has issued a bulletin regarding the annual increase in retroactive program benefits effective Oct. 1. The director reviewed changes in the state’s average weekly wage, which increased in 2016 and has decreased in 2017, and determined a conversion factor of 2.178% for injuries occurring from July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016. The base wage for calculating retroactive program benefits is $942.48.
