Zurich Names Terry McCafferty Head of Group Captives

Zurich North America appointed Terry McCafferty to oversee the company's group captives business, including member-owned, agency and associated captives, according to a report by the Daily Herald Business Ledger. McCafferty will take over for Rod DeMaso on Feb. 1, the suburban Chicago business paper reports. DeMaso was moved to a new role as director of technical underwriting.  McCafferty will relocate from a Zurich office in Kansas to its North American headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois, about 30 miles northeast of downtown Chicago.
