York Risk Services Acquires Sams & Associates

California-based independent adjusting company Donald K. Sams and Associates Inc. announced it has been acquired by claims administration firm York Risk Services. Terms of the deal, which closed Sept. 2, were not disclosed. Sams & Associates provides claims adjusting services in 12 western states as well as private investigative services in California. The founder of the company, Don Sams, will assume the role of president of the York Field Services Division and be based in Granite Bay.
