Danbury's minor league hockey team is ceasing operations after two seasons, citing the high cost of workers' compensation insurance.
Westfair Online reported the fate of the Danbury Titans last week.
"After reassessing the cost of workers’ compensation insurance in the state of Connecticut, I decided this was not financially feasible for an organization like mine,” team owner Bruce Bennett said. “Last season’s injury list was long."
