Doctor Convicted of Comp Fraud Can't Join BWC Provider Network

An Ohio appellate court upheld a determination by the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation that a doctor convicted of workers’ compensation fraud could not be certified as a provider in its Health Partnership Program. Dr. Anil Choudary Nalluri is a physician licensed to practice medicine in the state of Ohio since 1977. On March 15, 2012, Nalluri was indicted by a Franklin County grand jury of two counts of workers' compensation fraud and two counts of tampering with records.
