By a vote of 27-10, the New Jersey Senate on Thursday approved a bill that would provide a presumption that COVID-19 illness is work-related for most essential workers.
Senate Bill 2380 also is one of the first in the country to couple a presumption with a requirement that coronavirus claims should not be counted against employers' experience modification.
