'Standard & Poors today affirmed State Compensation Insurance Fund's 'A' rating to reflect the company's strong business position.
S&P noted that State Fund is well capitalized and its main drawback is its average operating results. However, with much of the industry taking large losses, its results are still better than the averages the Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau estimates for the industry as a whole in California.'...
