The son of a WorkCompCentral award winner and panelist at last year’s Comp Laude Awards Gala has won a $10,000 scholarship by Kids Chance of California, an organization that gives scholarships to children of parents who were killed or injured on the job.
Trent Johnson, 18, won the scholarship. His father, Dwight Johnson, was last year's winner of WorkCompCentral's Comp Laude Award in the injured worker category.
