Quackenbush to Sell Parts of Superior

The Department of Insurance has published requests for proposals indicating that it intends to sell the assets and transfer liabilities of Superior National Insurance Group (Superior National) as part of a plan to rehabilitate the captured workers compensation carrier. Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush 'has determined that rehabilitation of the companies' insurance business is feasible and should be accomplished in the shortest time reasonably possible,' according to the department's requests. ...
