The Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings has posted notice that it intends to withdraw proposed rules under the expedited rule-making process regarding workers’ compensation intervention practices.
The proposed rules would have applied to situations in which other parties have reached an agreement to settle a claim but have been unable to reach agreement with an intervenor or obtain the intervenor's signature on the stipulation.
An intervenor is one who has provided services or paid benefits to, or on behalf of, an injured worker.
