The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation adopted a new rule that takes effect Oct. 19 and will give injured workers the option of using telehealth services.
The rules define telehealth as using telecommunication technology to provide health-related services and information. Telehealth for workers’ compensation “means services provided to an injured worker by a licensed telehealth provider, which may include telemedicine, in accordance with the workers’ compensation law.”
