Report Looks for 'Tipping Point' to Complex Comp Claims

Nurse case managers can play an important role in preventing a seemingly straightforward workers’ compensation claim from taking a turn for the worse and becoming a long-term, costly case, some say. But identifying which cases can benefit from a nurse case manager — and in which claims it would only be an added expense — can be tricky to determine.
