Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Mark Afable on Thursday announced a 5.44% decrease in workers’ compensation insurance rates.
The cut that takes effect Oct. 1 marks the sixth straight year of rate decreases in Wisconsin, Afable’s office said in a statement.
“As our state recovers from the pandemic, this will help provide additional relief to our businesses who could save more than $90 million thanks to this decreased rate,” Afable said in a statement.
