Division Returning to Virtual Hearings

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that all hearings will be held virtually starting Jan. 12. “The division acknowledges that due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, a pause of in-person hearings is necessary at this time,” the DWC said in a statement Tuesday. “The pause will continue through the end of the month and will be reevaluated at that time.” The division said hearing notices will not change but parties should be aware that effective Jan. 12, they need to call judges' conference lines and not appear in person for any trial...
