Bill Would Legalize Medical Marijuana, Allow Workers Who Test Positive to Keep Benefits

Kansas is one of six states where marijuana remains fully illegal, but that could change under a bill that was introduced Friday. The Senate Committee on Federal and State Affairs introduced a bill that would legalize medical marijuana and exempt registered users from a statute that disallows benefits for injured workers who test positive for the drug.
