Lien Stay Injunction Postponed Another Week

It will be at least two more weeks before a federal judge hands down an order requiring the Division of Workers’ Compensation to notify all claimants through its website that their liens are being stayed. U.S. District Judge George H. Wu, in an Oct. 30 final order, said he would grant a limited injunction that prohibits the DWC from freezing liens filed by claimants who are not noticed through its website.
